Office Manager / Ops / HR support – technology firm in the City: £40-45,000 plus benefits
This role is to support the London office of an Australian technology firm – you will be involved in operations support, office management duties and some HR/People and Culture support. This is a busy and varied role with scope for the right candidate to get involved across the business. They are an Australian firm with an HQ in Melbourne. Globally they are around 125 employees with the bulk of their staff based in Australia. The London office is the second largest with 28 employees and they have smaller satellite teams around the world including in Malaysia, Philippines, Mexico, Canada, Slovenia and Luxembourg. So truly an international firm.
Office Management duties will include:
- Being the point of contact for general UK office enquiries and acting as a backup support for the Luxembourg office, providing remote assistance
- Upkeep of the office space & meeting rooms
- Managing office supplies (and budget) – stationery and refreshments
- Coordinating client meetings, office events, workshops & staff meetings for the UK & Luxembourg office (including catering if required)
- Data entry, filing, printing, photocopying & scanning as required
- Providing admin support to the Leadership Team and the People & Culture team
- Managing building & office access for the UK office and a backup support for the Luxembourg office
- Other ad hoc admin tasks as required
People and Culture Support duties will include:
- Preparing welcome packs for new starters
- BambooHR platform support for new hires
- Supporting with staff onboarding and inductions
- Backup for P&C and recruitment administration tasks as required
This is a full time role, office based 3 days out of 5, with the core days being Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. The ideal candidate will be process driven, highly organised and with very strong communication skills. Someone who can collaborate internationally and understands the need for tact and discretion is also vital.
Salary wise they are looking to pay £45-50K plus they have good benefits.
